Francis Gugen
Non-Executive Chairman

Francis is Fraudscreen’s non-executive chairman. In addition, he is non-executive chairman of Island Gas Limited and a non-executive at Britannia Building Society. He is also Vice Chairman of Petroleum Geo Services, a member of the CBI’s Economic Affairs and Energy committees and a trustee and member of the management committee of the charity RAFT.

Francis spent 18 years with Amerada Hess Corporation, where he was CEO of the UK and of North West Europe. He is a past president of the UK Offshore Operators Association, founder member of the UK Government’s Oil & Gas Task Force (now Pilot) and past chair of Crine, set up to improve oil industry supply chain and exports.

Qualified as a chartered accountant he worked with Arthur Andersen in the 1970s, was educated initially in the French system and is married with one daughter.
