Fraudscreen protects businesses from dishonest and fraudulent customers.

Fraudscreen was founded in 2003 to address the increasingly prevalent issue of ‘First Party Fraud’ - fraud that is committed by individuals with intent ‘not to pay’. Non payment in mail order, over claim in insurance and default in retail credit are all rapidly developing examples of ‘First Party Fraud’ in the modern distance-selling environment. Fraudscreen has determined to provide a proactive tool for businesses to combat this increasing problem.

Based upon a new and unique data set Fraudscreen allows clients to recognise and predict individuals’ attitudes to ‘First Party Fraud’. Fraudscreen provides clients with a clear discrimination between customers who are likely to behave fraudulently and those who are not.

Currently the Fraudscreen database holds 14 million unique individuals, approximately 50% of the UK’s adults who are economically active.
