01.11.2008 | Fraudscreen wins second industry award
For the second year in a row, Fraudscreen has been successful at the prestigious Data Strategy Awards. Following their win for 'Best Data Enhancement Product' in 2007, this year their coding solution has been recognised as the 'Best Applied Data Mining/Modelling Tool.' The award entry was based on a customer acceptance scorecard created for home shopping client Compton & Woodhouse. The solution was judged to have demonstrated the most effective new data sampling, comparison, processing system or statistical model or algorithm used in a commercial context and to achieve measurable business outcomes.
Fraudscreen's CEO, James Middlehurst, commented; “Once again the importance of predicting payment intent and the unique solution provided by Fraudscreen has been recognised as a powerful risk management tool. The Compton & Woodhouse case study is a great example of the financial impact our solutions can generate, having reduced their debt rate by 45%.”
As in 2007, Fraudscreen were also shortlisted in the category for Best Use of Data in Home Shopping.
