For the second year in a row Fraudscreen has been shortlisted in the Credit Today Awards for 'Best use of technology - third party solutions'. The awards are considered by many as the most coveted and prestigious in the credit industry.
All those shortlisted in this category have demonstrated how technology can deliver a competitive edge to their clients' business. Fraudscreen showcased TeleCollect, a solution designed to improve the effectiveness of collections activity, which was used successfully by home shopping business Grolier, delivering a return on investment of 10:1.
TeleCollect incorporates Fraudscreen's payment intent coding (predicting likelihood to pay) with internal data to segment all customers with outstanding and overdue payments. This segmentation forms the basis for a set of tailored telemarketing scripts, delivered for this campaign through call centre partner Telefocus.
Victoria Tuffill, Fraudscreen founder and Director commented, "We are delighted to be shortlisted by Credit Today once again. Grolier's success is a perfect example of a business understanding that not all customers share the same intent to pay or the same honesty and commitment to their financial obligations. In doing so, they were able to significantly improve cashflow by encouraging 33% of customers to pay their account in full and a further 22% to double the value of their monthly instalments."
